2012 THE END

Another new year approaching and I hope everyone has enjoyed this year as much as I do. Life goes on, so we just have to enjoy this awe-inspiring journey we all have.

New year resolutions are a trend that marks the beginning of our paths which keeps us going. Last year, I made several resolutions and I would say most of my resolutions are fulfilled. Though some are still in the process...

This coming new year, I wish :

• my life to be fun-filled with laughter & enjoyment
• my family to stay cheerful, happy and healthy
• to do well in my studies and other activities
• to receive scholarship & secure an internship at my desired company
• to keep in contact & meet my friends more often
• to earn & save more money
• to have a flawless skin
• daddy will still remember us. 

4R2 class outing is always held at the end of the year. I'm sure next year we'll meet up more frequently because of all the 21st parties!

Hope we can meet up with other classmates too!

HAPPY 20TH BIRTHDAY TO ME!

I finally reached the stage of my twenties! I can't believe it.. my teenage years officially ended. This birthday got to be the most touching one for me. It's so unforgettable how my friends celebrated for me. I've always never look forward to birthdays since young and my family no longer celebrate ever since dad was gone. Birthday is just yet another normal day to us, in fact a day which all of us wanted to avoid. We used to buy birthday cake every year and blow candles as a family. I always teared whenever they sang birthday song to me. I miss it so much.

Nevertheless, I enjoyed my 20th birthday! All thanks to my wonderful friends whom love me as much as I love them! 

Daisy bought a cake for me at work and my colleagues celebrated for me. Awww... I'mma so touched and shy!!! :P

Did I forgot to mention something important? I want to say a big THANKS to YANCI who came down all the way to my friend's chalet and wish me happy birthday! She's such a darling, so sweet of her(: Can't imagine my life without her!

Also, had a great day with BRISCILLIA CHOO especially our singing session! We'll talk NON STOP whenever we meet up and always so oblivious to our surrounding. She add colours during my down times & I'm so grateful to that.

15 more days to my first final examinations in NUS. Time passes just too quickly. Tomorrow is my last project submission and all test & exams will me rushing in. I need a breather. My motivation level isn't as strong and I think I have put little effort in everything I do. I know it'll definitely reflect in my results and I'll surely regret it. But, it is better late than never! I will try my best to score for exams! :)

Had a great meal at Yum Cha restaurant in Chinatown with mommy & brother last weekend. Hope mommy is happy. I love you mom!

And also my first attempt to bake rainbow cupcakes! Didn't measure the amount carefully and the cupcake overflowed :( Well, it is my first time after all. KUDOS! :D I want to bake oreo cheesecake, macroons and other cakes... Please look forward to many delightful desserts!

To the end of poly life, is the beginning of uni. Life continues to move on despite rain or storm. 

Year 2012 is really a happening year. I would say time past so fast that I couldn't slow down and watch what I have been doing. Today, I want to blog about things that I want myself to remember when I look back. Upon graduating from poly, I went Taiwan for a graduation trip with my family and relatives. It was considered my first overseas holiday trip. I can't express how happy yet heart-aching I was. I always look forward to see myself enjoying however I'll feel guilty whenever I'm a slightest joyful. This had happened ever since I know Daddy no longer can share my happiness with me. Graduating from poly; having fun overseas; enjoying life. It seems to become a sin, unfilial child.

Thereafter, I worked for another 3-4 months at CDL before I officially embarked on my uni phase. I got to know many friends from FOC, and my OG COEUS was really fun! We had many nice memories together. Although we aren't as close now, I'm sure we'll get to meet up often! 

To be honest, I'm struggling with the university pace. It is 1000000000 times more heavy workload than poly and the people there are 100000000 times more hardworking. I don't think I can score well in uni. I know I shouldn't be dampening myself but the fact is that my studying motivation is not as strong as when I'm in poly. I'll still strive to work hard, but try not to give myself too much stress. Enjoy life while I can. Right?

Nevertheless, in 2012, I'm so glad that I made so many new friends that are fun and nice to be with. Of course, I never fail to met up with my old friends even some whom I've not met for years! It's just so nice to meet and catch up with them once in a while when everyone is so busy with their own life. I love reminiscing the past :)
